Well, yes. Welcome to my “blog”. After a long struggle of at least a couple of days where I had to learn something about ftp and html, I now have a publisher that I guarantee will accept whatever I throw at it. Not that under any circumstances that represents a step forward for either you, me, or the larger world, of course. Still, this little niche of cyberspace may yet grow to be what I hope it can – a place for ideas, whether mine or anybody else’s. And best of all, I don’t really have to face you over drinks someday when you give me back my manuscript and pull that polite face I’m so used to when describing how you feel about my writing.

Oh, well. On to the work. Here’s a link to those who may want to know how the name The American Sentimentalist came into being.
